Research Seminar By Prof. S. Arunachalam

On June 5, 2024, from 10 am to 1 pm, Professor Arunachalam from Texas Tech University delivered an enlightening three-hour lecture at IMT Hyderabad on “Mediation & Moderation: Concepts, Implementation, & Publication.” He introduced the foundational concepts of mediation and moderation, explained their methodological nuances, and discussed the more complex idea of moderated mediation. Using real-time examples, he demonstrated how these statistical techniques could be applied to research, highlighting their role in uncovering research gaps and enhancing publication potential. Drawing from his extensive research experience, Professor Arunachalam provided valuable insights on model specification, statistical techniques, and strategies for publishing in top-tier journals, culminating in an interactive Q&A session that addressed attendees' specific queries and research challenges.
