IMT Hyderabad, 26th September 2024 - Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Hyderabad, recently organized an insightful Data Analytics Workshop for HR and Finance Professionals in collaboration with Mass Mutual India, a leading financial planning and life insurance company. Established in 1851, Mass Mutual India offers a range of financial products, including life and disability income insurance and long-term care insurance. The workshop focused on leveraging data analytics to drive business decisions and enhance operational efficiency.
The event was led by Miss Harshitha Sriramaneni, Director for Partner Operations and Shared Services at Mass Mutual India, who holds an MBA from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. She emphasized the importance of data-driven insights in HR and finance, illustrating how analytics can foster better decision-making.
The workshop featured other distinguished speakers, including Mr. Achuta Viswanath Akella, Senior Manager in Wealth Management Ops with over 18 years of experience in banking and financial services; Mr. Mahender Gupta, a semi-qualified Chartered Accountant with 5 years of experience in finance and accounting; Ms. Prativa Gupta, Manager - PMO & Analytics with over 14 years of diversified industry experience; Ms. Lavanya Pilly, Manager, Technology Delivery, specializing in data modeling and warehousing; Ms. Ajitha M, Senior Associate - PMO & Analytics, with over 10 years of experience spanning banking, healthcare, and project management; Ms. Tarandeep Kaur, Learning and Development Specialist, focused on fostering professional growth within the organization; and Mr Sai Kiran, Senior Associate in the Data team, contributing to data-driven insights and strategies.
Attendees gained hands-on experience with cutting-edge tools like Power BI and explored how technology transforms both the functions – HR and Finance. Interactive sessions on problem-solving techniques and vendor performance analysis further enriched the workshop, providing practical applications for attendees to enhance their skill sets in their respective domains.
