Haysa Kavi Sammelan

Hyderabad, 25th January 2020: Institute of Management Technology, Hyderabad witnessed the delightful performance of Padmashri Dr. Sunil Jogi at the Hasya Kavi Sammelan organized by the institute. Dr. Jogi was accompanied by prominent poets - Dr. Suman Dubey, Mr. Mukesh Gautam and Mr. Ashok Sundarani all of whom left the audience completely entertained with their wonderful performance.

The program was inaugurated on a propitious note with the lighting of the lamps by Dr. M Venkateshwarlu, Director, IMT Hyderabad and the dignitaries. This was followed by a melodious rendition of the Saraswati Vandana by Dr. Suman Dubey which left the audience mesmerized.

The event proved to be instrumental in rejuvenating the spirits of the audience after a day filled with sporting activities. All the performances were enthralling but what stood out was Dr. Jogi’s concluding poem which was his ode to his daughters. His poems are not only his passion but also his mission as he uses his poetry as a medium to create awareness in the society.

The campus of IMT Hyderabad echoed with thunderous applause and roaring laughter for the performances of these guests and eagerly looks forward to more programs like these which could prove to be a healthy reminder of how rich and vibrant the culture of our country is.
