IMT Hyderabad, 25th September 2024: Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Hyderabad hosted a leadership session on “Emerging Tech and Business Leadership," led by a visionary leader whose impact on the financial sector is profound and transformative—Sri Atluri, Managing Director - Global Head of Enterprise Quality Engineering at BNY Mellon and President at Quality Engineering Foundation (QEF). The speaker is a distinguished professional with an impressive academic background, holding a Master of Laws in Banking, Corporate Finance, and Securities Law from Fordham University School of Law and a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics and Statistics degree from Andhra University. The session was highly informative and engaging, further enriched by the leadership of Mr. Santosh Kumar Yamasani, head of EQE Engineering at BNY and core committee member at QEF.
Sri Atluri, possessing extensive knowledge in emerging tech and business leadership, joined students virtually and shared his insights on how AI is transforming quality engineering processes and how businesses can adapt to the evolving tech landscape. Speakers highlighted how automation and AI are driving innovation while posing challenges to traditional job roles. They also stressed upon the importance of adapting to technological advancements, noting that AI isn't just about displacing jobs, it's about creating new opportunities for growth and innovation.
Discussions also centered on how quality engineering is pivotal in ensuring the seamless integration of AI into various business functions. The consensus among the participants was that while AI may reshape the future of work, human ingenuity, and strategic leadership will remain essential drivers of business success.
Further, the students were encouraged to engage in an interactive Q&A session, where they gained clarity on AI threats on human jobs and investing strategies of BNY Mellon, wherein Sri Atluri and Mr. Santosh Kumar Yamasani shared their insights on these topics.
