OPERATIONS AREA Dr. Sourabh Bhattacharya Dr. Sourabh Bhattacharya is a Professor of Operations Management at the Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Hyderabad. He has completed is Ph.D. in the area of Supply Chain Management. He has been teaching courses such as Quantitative Methods, Operations Management, Project Management and Quality Management for PGP, EPGP and Ph.D. level students. Dr. Sourabh Bhattacharya has completed his post-graduation in Civil Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras and completed the Global Colloquium of Participant Centered Learning at the prestigious Harvard Business School, Boston, USA. He has worked with L&T Ltd. (ECC Division) in numerous construction projects and was mainly involved into the planning, designing and execution activities of projects ranging from Industrial Electrification to Highways and Bridges. Dr. Kalyan Chejarla Dr. Kalyan Chejarla is an Industry veteran with over 17 years of experience with some of the best known corporate houses such as Dell, TCS, HCL Technologies & Tata Motors. He has steadfastly been a Supply Chain Management professional through-out his career as a practitioner, consultant and solutions provider. He has worked extensively in Manufacturing, Retail & Services environments with elite clientele such as Target, CVS Caremark, Tesco, Applied Materials, Toshiba, General Motors & Tata Motors in their Supply Chain Transformation programs across geographies such as Japan, Europe, Africa & USA. For past 7 years, he has been teaching, researching and consulting in operations, supply chain and logistics management areas. He is a Professor in the area of Operations Management at IMT Hyderabad. Dr. Vinay Kumar Dr. Vinay Kumar Kalakbandi holds a Fellow of Indian Institute of Bangalore (IIMB) and a Master of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB). He is the recipient of the Prestigious Emerging Economies Doctoral Student Award instituted by Production and Operations Management Society in 2013 at Denver, Colorado, USA. In the past, he has worked on projects with a diverse set of organizations including IBM’s Supply Chain Management (SCM) Practice, Pricewaterhouse Cooper’s Government Reforms and Infrastructure Development (GRID) division, the United Nations Development Program and AdoRoi Inc., an advertising analytics startup company. His Primary area of research is Behavioral Operations Management, which focuses on the impact of human behaviour on performance and decision making in the context of operations.
