Hymns and bhajans were reverberating in the walls of IMT-H as students brought Ganpati Bappa to campus on September 1st, 2011.
The festival was celebrated with enthusiasm and fervor. The hall was beautifully decorated before the sthaapna of the idol. Hearts were filled with the sweet fragrance of flowers and even sweeter modaks(traditional sweet made of rice and flour) offered to Ganpati. College Dean Dr. Chakravarthy was also present. The idol was taken for immersion into the Hussain Sagar Lake on September 11th,2011.
