The rich diversity in student population at IMT Hyderabad contributes greatly to the learning. The advantage is particularly reinforced through students working closely in groups termed ‘learning teams’. While we grow intellectually from the diverse views of team members, we also get trained for group behavior norms and team work. It also leads to strong emotional bonds and friendships. IMTians are empowered to initiate and pursue various curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities thereby making the entire experience extremely enriching. |

Academic assignments. These teams are guided by the notions that students can often do as a group what they cannot do by themselves and that students can benefit from peer teaching, discussions and comments from their course mates. Besides ensuring peer learning, these learning teams are a useful means to develop competencies like team working, creativity, initiative, multitasking, responsibility, conflict management and leadership. |

Life at IMT Hyderabad is quite exciting. I particularly like the learning experience gained from creativity and leadership labs; business communications workshops; debates; and group based projects and assignments. Initially I was shy, but group tasks taught me the importance as well as skill of working in a team and meeting deadlines. Business Orientation Program was a wonderful initiative taken by IMT Hyderabad. We did indepth study of the business environment in different sectors. We also interacted with CEOs from different industries and learnt from their experience.

A key aspect that the students at IMT Hyderabad work on is the ability to recognise their strengths and weaknesses. This is to help the students gain an understanding of their impact on others and vice-versa so as to increase their effectiveness in personal and professional life. In addition to this, ability to work with and through people, ability to motivate and inspire is built through initiatives that include leadership labs; personal development exercises, group exercises and projects; reflection of challenges, successes, and failures experienced; discussion on role models and great leaders; exposure to and interaction with leaders from different walks of life. |

The best part of being part of the pioneer batch is the challenge and excitement of starting everything from the scratch. I have learned a lot from my first-hand experience of forming and running student clubs and committees. The highly qualified and supportive faculty are always there to assist and guide us in all our academic pursuits. At IMT Hyderabad within a span of 3 months, I have listened to and interacted with several business leaders and highly experienced members of corporate world. |

The Social Responsibility club inculcates in students a sense of responsibility to their immediate environment. It reminds them that in a sustainable society one must strive as much to give as to get. The events conducted by the club make the students aware about the broader issues facing the society and create in them a feeling of contributing to the society. |

It’s been a semester and I have realized that the only thing that I need to take care of at IMT Hyderabad is my own time and effort for learning. The rest is taken well care of by the college. Be it the experienced faculty; exposure to stalwarts from the corporate world; hostel, food, IT infrastructure, sports facilities and everything else that one make the needs to build an atmosphere conducive to learning. The innovative learning methods of workshops, role plays, debates and so on have worked wonders on me. I can feel the change within such a short time. |

Being a student of the first batch of IMT Hyderabad has been a unique experience in itself. I have seen the changes and improvements in the campus as well as in myself. And the credit goes to the experienced faculty, the management and an amazing peer group. Institute's USP is its unique pedagogy that focuses on continuous learning process rather than emphasizing on end semester paper-pen based exams. This really helps us to focus on gaining and applying knowledge rather than memorizing theories for exams. The various clubs started in just a matter of 4 months, reflects the institute’s philosophy of "Make the change you want to see". I am positive that these 2 years are going to be a life-changing experience. In nutshell, I am proud to be a part of the pioneering batch of IMT-H! |

IMT Hyderabad has been a real eye opener to the many options and opportunities in the corporate world. This is particularly so after the Business Orientation Program. The case method has highlighted the interconnections among individuals and companies.
As to the MBA experience as a whole, IMT has encouraged a longer-term approach to my career, to making decisions whose value may not be apparent in the short-term, but will play out over time. Here, you can invest in yourself and develop skills that make you a better and more well-rounded individual. I think the most important thing I have learned is the ability to work collaboratively and build trustworthy relationships with people.
