IMT Hyderabad is committed to helping its students shape their careers through a systematic process and methodical approach. While the regular classroom courses impart the subject knowledge, the workshops in the first year will help students sharpen their communication and interpersonal skills. This makes them industry-ready from all aspects.
Our 14-week-long Internship Program will help both students and organizations understand their mutual suitability; whether it is the right fit or not. This in turn will help students get rewarding pre-placement offers. Practitioners’ participating in the delivery of courses, business leaders’ involvement in the Business Orientation Program and for guest lectures are the other initiatives implemented at IMT Hyderabad for developing strong relationships with leading business organizations.
Besides, IMT Hyderabad has a Corporate Resource Center, manned with dedicated professional placement team to facilitate interaction with the corporate world with the objective of providing final placements for the students. Each member in the professional placement team is responsible for facilitating the final placement for a specific number of students. Our placement officers have two major responsibilities, namely, Career Counseling and Recruiter Relations. As part of the Career Counseling services, they prepare the students for effective career searches through individual counseling. As part of Recruiter Relations, they systematically search across sectors and industries, zeroing in on job opportunities for our students and establishing necessary contacts. They also facilitate the extensive on-campus interview processes and conduct rigorous follow-ups.
